SaaSMAX Starts off 2012 With First-Ever Deal Registration

It’s a new year at SaaSMAX, and things are looking even brighter than they were in 2011. While it is only the middle of January, we have much to report in terms of onboarding new App Vendors and Solution Providers, conversations we have been having with channel veteran insiders and just the all-around buzz about what’s going on with our platform. Even more exciting is that we obtained our first deal registration this week through our proprietary channel management tools, with a California-based App Vendor specializing in project management solutions.

This past week included the onboarding of new industry-leading solution providers from the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.One of them is led by an executive who was responsible for migrating 80,000 government workers to cloud-based email.

We can also report that we have had several conversations and platform demos with both App Vendors and Solution Providers who are amidst joining SaaSMAX in Beta. As always, these interested parties represent a variety of verticals and technologies—furthering SaaSMAX’s appeal as a platform that is agnostic and suitable for App Vendors and Solution Providers who want to take advantage of actionable channel management tools, processes and relationships; We are also receiving inquires regarding SaaSMAX at a steady pace, from both the App Vendor and Solution Provider sides.

Our team also attended the annual CES in Las Vegas to find out what is in store when it comes to new technology; we also had a sit-down discussion at the event with Andrew Mariathasan of RTT News, a business wire service covering everything from world financial markets to technology.

Aside from diligently adding and onboarding to our platform, we are also working hard to form alliances and partnerships in the industry. Specifically, we are excited to collaborate with the App Developers Alliance, and with Ian Moyse, a C-level SaaS channel expert who currently serves on the boards of several internationally based cloud organizations. Ian also runs the Cloud Resellers Network group on LinkedIn.

Remember there is no Annual Membership Fee to join SaaSMAX during Beta, and those who join during this stage will have their annual membership fee waived for 12 months beginning on the date SaaSMAX officially launches. In addition, for App Vendors, note one contract business model covers all resellers who you decide to partner with. On the flip side, Solution Providers can take advantage of this same business model via all of their vendor agreements.
